They talked behind him?
They don't want to go?
They are not capable?
They are not willing to change?
Because of one person, they become nothing?
Because of one person, they don't know what to do?
They never think before they decide?

That's probably what YOU thought. ( I am not sure, if you are not, no offense, and leave this post alone.)


However,
Let me tell you, what THEY are.

They never talked anything behind him, never told anyone about it, THey kept it for themselves.
They want to go, they love that place like we do. They are 120% willing to go.
They are capable, very capable.
They are willing to change, and they did try to change.
They won't just because of one person, they do nothing, become nothing. You were not them, they are all adult, they knew and know what they are doing.
They know what they should do, and of course, they are actually more capable than we thought. A lot of stuffs, if they really wanted to mess it up, it can be worse. But they didn't, because they know what they are doing.
They thought for a really long time before they decided what to do. If they think that is the best for them, just let it be. Not big deal right?


Now, let me tell you what I thought.

I have never seen them talking about it this Fall 09.
I know they wanted to go, and I will support them. You think I never talked to them before? Go check out cybird's blog, "empty saturday", I supported them, as long as they are happy. And I believe that place still a GOOD place. As long as they are happy, I will stand by them no matter what the decision is.
I think they are capable.
I saw their changes.
They are still something. You don't know a lot of things. No one tell you. They know you don't want to get involve, and they never wanted to talk about it to anyone else. Is between us. We are close friend, so i don't mind to listen (last semester).
I know they are not Stupid, they know exactly what they want. If not, why would they went last week?
I know they took a long time to decide, after a lot of considerations, You think that is easy? Is hard decision. Very hard decision. But, the main purpose here is to study, enough stress from education, that is a place to release some stress, of course, if there was stress, usually are not a big deal. Have you ever felt stress in that place? Frankly, I have never.

Since already decided, Respect their decision. Whatever you wanted to say, I have probably said it before you, long long long time ago. I might not be objective? Maybe, but I did my best.

As a friend, I would say as long as my friends happy, I will be happier. Some more, they are not doing something wrong, if leaving that place can settle down a lot of conflicts, it might be a good decision as well.


Extra -
If one day, you don't feel like telling your friend. Because he/she would definitely NOT support you, who are you going to talk to? The support here, is not stand beside them and angry with them or whatsoever, is respect them, Respect their decision.

I am who I am, they are who they are, and You are who you are. Different human being, different thinking.

Of course I understand your motive, you are trying to help, trying to be objective.
But
Sometimes, for people who don't really understand you, being objective = Fake, for them.
And
Sometimes, it is not necessary to be objective. If you want to take everything objectively, I am sure you will have a lot of friends, but how many of them are real?

No matter what, it is not a big deal for me.

I know what is wrong, my definition of friends and yours are different.
For me, as long as you are my brother, you are my good good friend, I will be biased, I will help you even you are wrong. I will be angry if someone tried to mess up with you. I will be angry if someone tried to make use of you, as long as someone try to hurt you, I am willing to stand in front of you, help you to take most of the damage.

This is friendship, brotherhood in my definition.
As long as I think that person worth me to sacrifice, why not? Of course you are one of them.

If you are not happy, why would you do it? This is not a job. This is volunteering. Even a job, why would you stay there when your boss is useless and stupid, you won't get anything from him, change job for your brighter future.

No big deal.
